What is the “Fresh Meat” training program?
The LCRG Training program has been developed to give a skaters the basic training to pass the WFTDA Minimum Skills Requirements. “Fresh Meat” skaters train separately on their own night and separately from the veterans on Sundays. New skaters that pass both the written rules test and physical skill assessment are green lit to become bout eligible, choose a derby name, earn voting rights, their LCRG uniform, and train with the Little City Rollergirls at regular practices. Generally, the initial fresh meat period will last 3-4 months from entrance to graduation.
