Friday was challenging, but AMAZING!

Despite rain washing away our sound equipment, we had a great crowd to watch the Little City Derby Brats and an even bigger crowd was mesmerized by the Little City Junior Rollers and Mad Divas! Big Daddy Voodoo announced the old fashioned way with no amplification and the onlookers were responsive and asked him lots of great questions!

Visit the merchandise tent to have a seat and get out of the sun!

Today is the Main Event! 

The action starts at NOON!  (BDV will have a sound system today!)

BLUE PLUM! Friday Roller Derby Schedule!

Thanks to our sponsor People’s Community Bank,  Little City is taking it to the streets at Johnson City’s Blue Plum Festival this weekend! 

For our over 21 fans with ID and a wrist band, We will be serving beer!

Come by our Roller Derby Exposition all along Tipton Street downtown to get out of the sun or rain and hang out with us!   

Friday night is Kid’s night!  Bring the kids and watch the kids team and the juniors team play! 

Saturday, the Blue Plum Roller Derby Championship begins at noon and goes until 6pm!  Grab a drink and watch four teams of these amazing atheletes play down and derby!

Finishing up both days, after the derby, the track will open up and the dance music will pump as we have the After-Party at the Little City Roller Disco Party!

Tonight, June 1! 

Spend the first Friday of the month with the Little City Derby Brats and Little City Junior Rollers!

           6pm - Kids 12 and under!  Little City Derby Brats

 7pm- TEEN BOUT!! Little City Junior Rollers vs Mad Divas Junior Derby (Asheville, NC)

 8pm - 11pm-  Open Skate / Roller Disco!

Little City merchandise, Face Paining by April, magic, and all the t-shirts, season passes, and LCRG merchandise you could possibly want will be available at the Little City Expo!

Run with the Roller Girls! First Friday May 4 Downtown Johnson City!

Join LCRG as we help celebrate hispanic culture at First Friday in Johnson City May 4!

Little City mock Running of the Bulls!

Corazon Latino is a wonderful festival of all things latin and Little City will be there with bells on!

In fact, we will be wearing HORNS!

Recreating the famous Pamplona, Spain Running of the Bulls,  Corazon Latino and Little City are teaming up for an East Tennesssee re-creation!

Little City Rollergirls will be in full bout skating gear plus TWO new items!

1) Horns mounted to their helmets! (Fun!)
2) Foam bats. (Uh Oh!)

Participants known as “Runners” can sign up 6-6:30.  They will need to sign a waiver.

At 6:30pm, on Main Street the runners will be put on notice to line up at the starting line, then the Bulls will be released!  LCRG will skate through the crowd goring them with horns and whacking them with foam bats until they reach the finish line! 

The excitement of chasing down our fans and beating them with foam bats is enough for us, so this event is totally FREE!!

Next Month, June 1 and 2 Little City will be BACK in Downtown Johnson City with it’s largest event to date!  The Little City Blue Plum Roller Derby Championship will be a two-day exposition of derby skill and culture!  Which of the Little City home teams will win the coveted Blue Plum Cup?
